Long-term Substitute at York Middle School, Student Internship at York Comprehensive High School, Field Experience at Northwestern High School. I want to be a tutor because I feel that teaching on an individual basis can enhance one's learning farther than being in a classroom setting. I've completed the Winthrop University College of Education Program. I tend to know the trends very well as I have a younger sister and this helps my ability with teaching as I have a good idea what children and young adults are into these days. I use those new trends along with teaching to grab their attention and increase their interest level in the subjects. I have taken guitar and music lessons and played music since I was 14 up to this day and through this I have attained a good knowledge of music. I was also a part of a Show Choir in high school that placed 7th nationally at the Show Stoppers competition in Nashville, TN. This has helped and increased my knowledge of music.
