I have no formal tutoring training, but I am the oldest of three, and I grew up helping my younger siblings with all of their studies. I scored 1085 on the SAT, and a 3 on the AP Psychology exam. I really enjoy working with middle and high school aged kids, and because I have a sister who has a hard time learning in school, I fully understand that sometimes they need that extra, outside-of-school hand. And I want to be able to do that for them. Also, I realize that sometimes, it's a lot more beneficial for them to feel like they're learning from someone more their equal than a teacher. I have taken College Algebra, Biology, Writing 101, English 101 and 201, Psychology 101, Psychology Statistics, and Sociology 101 and 201. I have spent a lot of time helping to create a positive environment for teens while working with them at my church.

Hobbies
I love teens! I grew up babysitting both my younger siblings, and others. I work with teens in my hometown parish, and my dream job is to work with teens who are either suffering from substance/self abuse, or are having to deal with a parent(s) who suffers from substance/self abuse. In my spare time, I enjoy being outside (at the beach, when I'm home,) riding bikes, skateboarding, being with my friends, shopping (like every other girl,) writing, or drawing.
